TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – Here are some of the Travelers Rest Devildogs' standout performers this past week (and past couple weekends) in girls and boys high school athletics, listed in alphabetical order by last name.
Emma Bayne: Bayne, a Senior volleyball standout, was recently named to the All Tournament Team at the Hilton Head Island Bash. (Read more.)
Madeline Frazier: Frazier, a Senior volleyball standout was recently named to the All Tournament Team at the Hilton Head Island Bash. (Read more.)
Todd Harris: Harris, is senior boys cross country runner, finished second in the 12-team Canned Food Drive 5K at Hillcrest with a time of 16:49.91.
Cade Hartin: Devildog Angler Cade Hartin (along with Devildog anlger Luke Tilley) took third place in the Jr. Bassmaster Division in a South Carolina B.A.S.S. Nation Youth Series on Lake Hartwell on Sept. 23 with three legal fish with a total weight of 8.01 lbs., one of which tipped the scales at 3.09 lbs (Read more.)
Connor Johnston: Johnston, a senior boys cross country runner, won the Canned Food Drive 57 at Hillcrest with a time of 16:39.18, beating his teammate Harris by 10 seconds.
Mahayla Law: Law, a Senior volleyball standout, was recently named to the All Tournament Team at the Hilton Head Island Bash. (Read more.)
Kaelyn Simpson: Devildog golfer Kaelyn Simpson shot a personal best of 42 in the Devildogs 207-225 win over Wade Hampton this week.
Ryder Stauffer: Boys Volleyball team member Ryder Stauffer was named to the All Tournament Team at the Foothills Fall Classic.
Luke Tilley: Devildog Angler Luke Tilley (along with Devildog Angler Cade Hartin) took third place in the Jr. Bassmaster Division in a South Carolina B.A.S.S. Nation Youth Series on Lake Hartwell.
