Updated: Deputies make arrest after traffic stop leads to chase, shooting

Update (June 26, 2023, 6:50 a.m.):

TIGERVILLE, S.C. – Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office unit have made an arrest in connection with the shooting and chase that began at Dacusville Road and Ables Circle in Marietta on Saturday night.

PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. — A 36-year-old Marietta man was shot and killed by a South Carolina Highway Patrol trooper in Pickens County on Tuesday night following an exchange of gunfire initiated by the suspect, officials said.
