Devildogs: This week's standout performers

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – Here are some of the Travelers Rest Devildogs' standout performers this past week/weekend in girls and boys high school athletics, listed in alphabetical order by last name.

Emma Bayne, a senior on the Lady Devildog volleyball team, was named to the all-tournament team at the Woodmont Pink is Power tournament.

Jackson Beavers, an eighth-grader on the JV cross country team, finished 2nd at the Woodmont Invitational.

Madison Camp, a junior on the Lady Devildog Volleyball team, was named to the all-tournament team at the Woodmont Pink is Power tournament.

Matthew Conner, who plays RB on the Devildog varsity football team, racked up nine carries for 123 yds. and two TD (avg 13.6 yds. per carry) and one reception for 33 yds. and one TD in Friday's game against Carolina.

Todd Harris, a senior boys cross country runner, finished fourth overall in the Woodmont Invitational.

Connor Johnston, a senior boys cross country runner, won the Woodmont Invitational with a PR of 16:10. This is Johnston's third first-place finish, having previously placed first in pre-region and in the Hillcrest Canned Food Drive.

Kami League, a senior, received all-region honors in golf.

Mae McHugh, a freshman, received all-region honors in golf.

Drew McKibben, who plays WR on the Devildog varsity football team, had seven carries for 138 yds. and two TD (avg 19.7 per carry) and three receptions for 36 yds and one TD (avg. 12 yds. per reception) in Friday's game against Carolina.

Kaelyn Simpson, a senior, received all-region honors in golf.

Lucas Tankersley, who plays WR on the Devildog varsity football team, had nine tackles, six assists and one sack in Friday's game against Carolina.
