Lady Devildog volleyball places second in Florida Team Camp tournament

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The Travelers Rest Devildog volleyball team placed second in the PAC-12 Division at the annual University of Florida Team Camp tournament, held over the weekend on the campus in Gainesville.
Following three match wins with no lost sets on Saturday, the Lady Devildogs fell to Spruce Creek (7A), 0-2, in the division championship, held Sunday inside the dome at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. (Watch here.)
"This past weekend was a great opportunity for our players to learn more about each other and gain insights into what we need to work on as the season progresses," said head coach Heather Foster. "The players worked very hard, focused on improving, and were reminded of the importance of 'One Team, One Family!'"
"I am looking forward to a competitive season that builds upon last year's success," Foster continued. "I expect this season will be one that focuses on what we value as a program: positive attitude, strong work ethic, discipline, sacrifice, joy and unity."
