Summer food program open to everyone 18 years or younger

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The Seamless Summer Food Service Program is underway, with Greenville County Schools’ food and nutrition services staff members providing free lunch throughout the county to all children 18 years old and younger.

All meals are provided free of charge, and there are no eligibility requirements. All meals must be consumed on-site.

In Travelers Rest, the program is available at Travelers Rest High School, located at 301 N. Main St.

Program dates and times at Travelers Rest High School are as follows:

- June 5 - July 27 (Monday-Thursday)
- Closed week of July 3
- Breakfast 8-9 am
- Lunch 11-1 pm

Under the USDA program guidelines, nutritionally-balanced meals are provided to all children regardless of race, color, sex, disability, age or national origin during summer vacation when school breakfasts and lunches are not available.
