Toy Drive underway in Travelers Rest through Dec. 7

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – The city of Travelers Rest is currently accepting donations for their annual Holiday Toy Drive, with collections from now through December 7, 2023.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of Travelers Rest businesses and residents, organizers said they were able to assist over 30 families and a total of 63 children.

Boxes to donate new, unwrapped toys (or monetary donations) will be located at businesses throughout town as well as at city hall, which is located at 125 Trailblazer Dr.

Several families requested basic necessities in addition to toys last year such as diapers, clothing/shoes, blankets, and monetary donations go towards purchasing those items, organizer said.
