Marietta man dead following shootout with trooper
PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. — A 36-year-old Marietta man was shot and killed by a South Carolina Highway Patrol trooper in Pickens County on Tuesday night following an exchange of gunfire initiated by the suspect, officials said.
The Pickens County coroner said the shootout took place near Pumpkintown and Pace Bridge
